El Pescador #2 - 2008

At El Pescador #2, I had their Empapelado (shrimp, octopus, fish, abalone cooked in steam all sauteeing in a heavy cream and mushroom sauce). It took awhile but well worth the wait.

Pho Mai - December 2008

Pho Mai is the oasis in the desert. The only Vietnamese restaurant for miles in the city of Santa Fe Springs and Whittier. The next closest city for me is Artesia or Cerritos. The pho is standard but its a stand out amidst all the other restaurants in the area.

Hawaiian Heaven 2008

Its not all that. I had the e short ribs and golden fried shrimp. The pseudo-Hawaiian didn't impress me.

Hacienda San Isidro Grill - 2008

Hacienda San Isidro Grill is overpriced and the quality is compareable to Tacos Mexico. But since its in the upper crust Whittier area, the prices should not be cheap.
