Breakfast at Don Adrian

I revisted Don Adrian for the tacotote. The ingredients for this are cured meat, avocado, cheese, cilantro, onions and chipotle sauce. Like an open face burrito. A good hearty breakfast.

I've been looking for a Japanese restaurant in the Valley to replace Nozawa.

It must be syzygy, because the link to the universe has been established and I am not forsaken. I have been blessed with finding an authentic Nihonjin no tabemono. Itadakimasu!

Pork cutlet with croquette and tonkatsu sauce on the side.
Biru. Oishi desu!

Via Mar

5111 N Figueroa St
Los Angeles, CA 90042

After a half the day hike through the hills of Mt. Washington, I needed to eat badly. I was famished. What better way to stop the hunger pains with shrimp cocktail and fish burrito. Right on!

Delicious, simply delicious.

They have lobster, octopus, seafood galore.

Awesome Thai

Reseda, CA 91335

Chintzy bastard used cabbage as a filler. Noodles and beans sprouts are filler by themselves but they were too chintzy to give more of this. They left me stuffed to the gills with disgust.

By being self serving and greedy I am helping the Greek economy. I'm enjoying a salad with Greek olives and olive oil. There I've just helped increase Greek exports.
My other self indulgent behavior is having the Lamb Souvlaki. Tasty. The only Greek restaurant with in a reasonable distance and I don't have to go to Baker.
The lamb is charred nicely, smokey and gamey at the same time. I like the yogurt its so probiotic in flavor. Using scientific terminology as descriptor is so antiseptic and clinical. Probiotic such a marketing concept.

Cemitas Poblanas Don Adrian

Just when I was getting tired of Vietnamese Banh Mi, along comes Don Adrian to revitalize the concept of a sandwich. The flavors are Latin such as pata, barbacoa, milanese, adobado, etc. I rejoice. Cemitas is certainly a higher quality than your usual torta.

You take picture of me . I take a picture of you. Now we're even.
I'm having the pata. Milky, translucent and the texture is stiffer than jelly but not hard like cartilage. Pata has bland taste to it but there is luxuriousness about it.

Mad Greek

72112 Baker Blvd.
Baker, CA 92309

Greek food in the middle of nowhere.

I had the calamari on Greek salad with a Sam Adams. How nice of them not to discard the tentacles, that's where all the taste is.
