I went to the Burrito Factory in Sunland. I asked for an off menu meat burrito...lengua. They had it. No seso, no cabeza, but they had lengua.

Birrieria Jalisco - February 2009

At Birrieria Jalisco, I the the plate #2 goat in consume. It came with tortilla, diced onions, and cilantro. The meat was so tender and delicious. Its a rough neighborhood, but there's the Hollenbeck Police Station, a funeral parlor and an emergency room at White Memorial Hospital, all within one block. Now that's convenience.

At Luna Maya I had the steak, with beans and rice. Their house special Luna Maya cameron del rio y filete de pesacdo looks more appetizing.

This place won me over with their pad thai. They didn't skimp and gave me a hearty portion of the of beef and noodles. They served bite size portions of beef rather than the minced size you'd get at other places.

Dragon Buffet -February 2009

Dragon Buffet differentiates themselves from everybody else by having roasted duck. It moves them to the top of my list amongst all the other Chinese buffet places.

At La Placita del D.F. I had their Cemitas Poblanas, not a bad torta.
