At Pantip I had their seafood soup. I was a descent hot & sour soup. Their beef satay was dry. Overall, I'd rate it as okay.

Thai Star Cuisine - 2008
The craziest salad I ever had was at Thai Star Cuisine. It was the Pra Duk Poo - crunchy catfish salad. A large quantity deep fried cat fish flakes (kinda like pop corn chicken...but fish) on a bed of finely julienned carrots, cucumbers, and lettuce with a sweet, vinegar and fish sauce dressing. The texture was pure crunchiness and the vinaigrette dressing made me pucker. Certainly, the most unique and interesting salad dish I've ever tried. Would I eat it again? Yes, I would.

Got introduced to Argentinian bistec and Malbec at Corrientes on one rainy day while waiting for traffic to die down. The cooking reflects the Italian ancestry of the place. I got a history lesson-the Swiss prefer the mountains in Argentina. I was so entranced by the wine I bought a bottle. Later I discovered they were selling the same vintage at Fresh and Easy-for less!
