Okay Mexican. Good pitcher of beers while watching football, if I was into football. But I was more into the PITCHER of BEER. The other interesting item on the menu is the pescado burrito. I had their taco special.
8015 Lankershim Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 91605 The charolita plate is the best on the menu. Why? Purity. Simple purity. There is no adulteration with fillers like rice, beans or lettuce or what not. Select your meats, lengua, buche, cabeza, etc. Fill your tortilla with the selected meat and spice it up with some salsa, cilantro, onions, guacamole, etc.
The liquor store/sandwich place is run by a young Russian dude. Beats Subway hands down if I was more into American style subs. After they handed me my order I always give them a spaseeba and off I roll.
10842 Magnolia Blvd. North Hollywood, CA 91601 The owner was a lovely woman who made me feel very at home. I had the curried goat so rich I grew horns and brayed.
As I recollect, I needed a meal while doing laundry. I got instant gratification because I'm in Alhambra and how could there not be anything to eat on Valley Blvd? Banh Mi for me.
137 North Montebello Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640 If I can't go to Little Toyko or Pasadena for the real stuff I'll make the poor substitution with some sugary sweet faux Eel Roll "Special".
Best inexpensive fish taco in Norwalk. Battered crispy fish, with cabbage, and creme sauce over two tortillas with condiments of spicy verde and rojo sauces, roasted yellow chili (cry your eyes out hot!) NEVER EVER think Del Taco or Taco Bell for fish taco again!
